Rachel Tondreault is an actor and teaching artist in recovery. They started their work with COAAST in 2015, prior to its merger into 2nd Act. Rachel’s experience onstage and love for theatre brought them to an audition for Ms. Moyer Bell’s play Four Legs To Stand On where they were cast and went on to originate the role of Sylvie. Two years into their work with COAAST, they were able to confront their own wounds with substance use and begin a life in recovery. Since this time, Rachel has been able to share their story amongst recovery communities throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Rachel also works as a yoga and meditation instructor for multiple recovery, mental health, and wellness communities. They live in Waltham, Massachusetts with their partner and pets.
