COVID-19 Response

As our organization responds to COVID-19, the health and safety of our staff, actors, client organizations, and audience members remain our top priority. Our organization follows CDC safety guidelines and recommendations, as well as specific school and host-organization protocols to keep audience members and actors safe and healthy. This includes SARS-CoV-2 rapid testing, hand sanitizing, masking and socially distancing. Additionally, all 2nd Act personnel will be fully vaccinated to current CDC standards before beginning in-person programming.

We are offering virtual performances of our prevention play, I'll Never Do That. We have also offered virtual drama therapy sessions for local public schools to help students process the pandemic. We’re working on virtual back-up plans for in-person performances of Four Legs to Stand On and school workshops if necessary.

While 2nd Act began to explore digital media out of the need to reach current audiences, we have since begun to realize the greater scope and range of offerings available for remote delivery. When the pandemic is behind us, we expect to continue to explore this diverse media as a way to reach new and diverse audiences.

If you are interested in booking a show or a workshop and would like to talk to us about our in-person precautions and/or our virtual offerings, please email us at outreach@weare2ndact.org.
